Taiwanese and American composer/pianist Chen-Hui Jen (任真慧) and American composer/computer musician Jacob David Sudol (司徒雅各) started the Misty Shore Duo (迷霧二重奏) in 2009 while they were both PhD students at the University of California at San Diego. 

As a duo their mission is to primarily perform new works for piano and electronics by Asian, American, and female composers.  Their repertoire includes well over 50 works that they have performed in dozens of concerts across east Asia and the United States, as well as a series of live streamed concerts and albums that they produced during the COVID-19 lockdowns.  These seven albums are all available at mistyshore.bandcamp.com
